Our Products
Beeswax
Beeswax is a natural wax produced by worker honeybees from special wax glands on the underside of their abdomen. Bees secrete tiny wax scales, which they chew and mould to construct honeycomb cells for storing honey and pollen and raising brood. Fresh beeswax is usually white or nearly transparent and becomes yellow to brown as the comb ages and accumulates pollen, propolis, and other materials.
Â
Beeswax is collected mainly from honey cappings, old comb, and surplus comb. It is obtained by melting and filtering the comb to remove impurities. Beeswax is a valuable hive product and is widely used for candles, cosmetics, creams, lip balms, wood and leather polish, food coatings, and various household and craft products. It is valued for being natural, renewable, water-resistant, and easy to mould when heated.
